These terms set out the basis on which The Private House handles enquiries and confirmed bookings across private dining, hosted stays, events and related hospitality.

Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation by The Private House. An enquiry does not create a confirmed booking until details and pricing have been agreed.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing is confirmed individually for each booking. Deposits or prepayment may be required to secure a date. Final payment timing will be confirmed as part of the booking process.

Changes & Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel a booking, contact The Private House as soon as possible. Any charges or retained deposits will depend on timing, third-party commitments, and work already scheduled.

Delivery

The Private House shapes private dining, hosted stays, events and wider hospitality through trusted chefs, hosts, houses and collaborators. Final delivery remains subject to suitability, availability, location, and operational requirements.

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate enquiry and booking information, including location, timing, guest numbers, property needs, and any relevant dietary details.
  • Provide a safe working environment and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.
  • Inform The Private House promptly of anything that may affect delivery of the experience.

Liability

The Private House will use reasonable skill and care in shaping and coordinating agreed hospitality. Liability is limited to the value of the booking, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
